On March 12, 2025, Lifeline Academy proudly celebrated the graduation of 17 dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) students from its 8-week course held in Carol Stream, Illinois. The journey, which began on January 6, culminated in a heartfelt ceremony attended by 90 guests, including family, friends, and faculty. Leading the charge was Instructor Kristy Pruski, whose passion and expertise shaped these aspiring first responders into a skilled and confident cohort ready to serve their communities.
The evening was filled with pride and gratitude, as the graduates reflected on their rigorous training and the bonds they formed along the way. Among the standout moments was the recognition of the class valedictorian, Emily, whose inspiring words captured the spirit of the milestone.
In her speech, Emily shared, “On behalf of the whole class, I want to say thank you to Lifeline Academy and Instructor Pruski. We learned a lot in this class because of the opportunities that you all have given us. Pruski, a big thank you to you for giving us such a quality education and making us the best of the best. I know we are going to rock the nationals because we had you as our teacher.”
Emily also took a moment to honor her classmates, adding, “Thank you as well to the class. It was a great past 8 weeks with all of you. I will miss seeing everyone’s dogs, and I will mostly miss competing with Ryan. Good luck to you all with nationals and future careers.”
The 17 graduates now step forward, equipped with the skills and determination to excel at the national level and beyond. Lifeline Academy extends its heartfelt congratulations to each of them, with a special nod Instructor Kristy Pruski whos guidance helped this class become “the best of the best,” ready to make a difference in emergency medical services.
Here’s to our newest EMTs—may your careers be as rewarding as the journey that brought you here!
